Booking your wedding transport through The Wedding Car Hire People is safe, secure, and simple. We work with trusted vehicle owners across the country — some receive payments via Stripe, while others prefer direct bank transfer. Both options are easy and clearly explained at checkout.
How It Works
- 1. Submit a quote request with your date, location and preferences.
- 2. You’ll receive prices and vehicle options from verified suppliers.
- 3. Choose your favourite and confirm with a small upfront payment.
- 4. The supplier is locked in, and you’ll receive their contact details.
- 5. Final payment is made closer to the big day (date varies slightly — see below).
Payment Types
We support two simple and secure payment options depending on the supplier you choose:
✔ Stripe-Connected Supplier
Your payment is handled securely via Stripe. You’ll pay:
- A small reservation fee today (includes deposit)
- The remaining balance automatically 28 days before the wedding
This is the easiest and most seamless option — no bank transfers, no chasing payments.
✔ Direct-Pay Supplier
If your chosen supplier doesn’t use Stripe, you’ll pay:
- A small platform fee to us today (non-refundable)
- The deposit and balance directly to the supplier on their terms
We’ll send their payment instructions once your booking is confirmed.
When Will I Pay the Final Balance?
The timing depends on the supplier’s setup:
- Stripe-connected suppliers: final payment is taken automatically 28 days before your wedding.
- Direct-pay suppliers: they will confirm the deposit amount and when the final balance is due — typically 2 to 4 weeks before the big day.
